Description
This is a supporting Teaching Material for music classes.
The objective is giving a visual and hearing tool for pupils to know folk Latin-American instruments.
It consist of 80 minutes duration DVD/CD backed up by a teacher's guide.
DVD/CD: Each theme introduces an instrument: wind (Quenas, Phalas, Sikus, Pifilkas, Erkes, etc.), string (Charango, Ronroco, Guitar, Kanatl) and percussion (Bombo, Chaj-Chas, Vaina, etc.). The information is accompaianed by images and photos of instruments an Andean landscapes.
At this Teaching Material they are also worked different characteristic Andean rhythms: Huaino, Saya or Tinky rhythm; also the Carnavalito, the Cueca or the Vidalita.
THE GUIDE: At this Teaching Material it is described each Andean instrument by chapters. They are also included many legends refereed to them, as "The Condor and the Quena" or "The Warior´s Tarkas".
